This Saturday and Sunday, eight of our chess players will be competing in the NZ Chess Federation nationals to be held at Christchurch Boys High School.

Avonhead is one of the teams representing Canterbury in the tournament in both the Junior and Intermediate divisions. It will be a challenging tournament, in which we play the best teams from all the regions in NZ, over seven rounds.
