Thanks to the generosity and kindness from Smith City Colombo Street and BEKO - we now have our own washing machine and drier. We are truely humbled and overwhelmed with their support and want to do a massive shout out to them.

Over the last few years, we have found ourselves  relying on staff to take home dirty uniforms to wash them for families who are struggling to both wash and dry clothes, particularly over the winter months. With no washine machine or drier at school we have been relying on staff to do this on a regular basis. We have also seen an increase in the number of families who are struggling financially and for whom we help them out with second hand uniforms if we can. 

However after a call to Smiths City - Colombo Street to see what the 'best deal' we could get on a washine machine for our school would be, we got put in touch with an amazing man from Smith's City 'Bryan' - who said he'd see what he could do for us. Bryan went over and beyond to see what he could do for us and within a week or so, he had contacted a supplier 'BEKO' who wanted to donate them to us for free! 

We have been so humbled by Smith City Colombo Streets kindness and have been blown away with what they have done for us and our school as well as beko who have supplied us with two amazing appliances. As well as that we have had an installer 'Gary' who has given of his time to help set up the appliances for us. Thank you so much Smith City & beko for helping us out and Bryan and Gary for being real 'Good Sorts' too!
