What is Dual Enrolment ?

It is taking a subject at another institution because we do not offer that subject at AGHS. A dual enrolment or secondary tertiary pathway (STP) programme is a connection between a tertiary institution and a school. Dual enrolment opportunities provide Year 12 and 13 students with positive transitions to further education, training or work by attending courses outside of school. These courses operate for one or two days a week and are trades-based, practical and relevant to students’ learning pathways. For a two day course, students will have one subject option less on their school timetable. There is a wide range of courses like Hospitality, Hair and Beauty , Intro to Construction, Electrical Engineering Automotive, Plumbing , Sustainability & Outdoor Education, Agriculture, Animal Care, Equine, Horticulture and much more.
