These are some matters for parents this week
1. Strike Action by teachers - On Thursday 16th March the PPTA are striking around pay and conditions. Our school is closed and a letter form the board will come out on Monday. If you cannot find supervision for an under 14 please contact the school office to tell us your young person is coming in to be supervised. There is no bus school transport that day.
2. Parking in the bus bay - please do not do this for safety reasons and please be kind to staff who ask you to move on.
3. Restricted drivers - please talk to your young person if they drive and ensure that they stick to the rules around learners and restricted licenses.
4. Currently teachers also have a partial strike which means that they do not cover for colleagues if they are sick in a non-contact time. We are not covering Year 13 classes if a teacher is sick, and hoping not to have to roster a group to learn from home.
