9BT and 9BV worked hard at the end of term 2 to produce their own short films in their Integrated Studies class. Their final films were presented to each other and their Kaitiaki in a short film festival on the last day of term.

The students worked in small groups to develop their own ideas and characters, write a script, create a promotional poster, film their scenes, and finally edit everything together into one short film.

This project required a huge amount of collaboration and time-management, and the classes rose to the challenge. It was fantastic to see them working to their strengths, as well as challenging themselves to step up and take on new roles.

Special mention goes to Exo Productions, consisting of Gaia Bone, Nikita Maulgue, CariDee Reardon, Jeneva Lawson and Tamzin Wallis Martin, whose film was voted by the classes as the best overall.
