Connie Whitehouse, Eseta-Claire  Navunisaravi and Emily McGifford attended the New Brighton Anzac Service.

They marched in the military parade with the veterans, active service men and women, scouts, cadets and Shirley Boy’s High School students. Eseta placed the wreath at the cenotaph during the wreath laying ceremony. The Honourable Poto Williams addressed those attending and commented on the importance of service. This was the first time Avonside has participated in the New Brighton service. Let’s hope that a new tradition has been started.
