Duty and use of the corridor between the schools
From Monday 27th SBHS and AGHS are starting a new arrangement for movement of the boys around to the café and theatres.
You will have been aware of the congestion issues for SBHS/AGHS in moving the boys as a school to assembly, and to morning tea and lunch through the corridor by the languages area. With winter and wet weather approaching our students also need to be inside whilst waiting for the café. This is what we will trial from Monday 27th March:
1. During lesson time individual students from either school can use the corridor to move between the café, theatres and library, Te Paeroa.
2. For morning tea, lunch and school assembly SBHS will move their boys through reception area to the café and theatres. AGHS students will also use the reception area. The corridor will be roped off during these times. AGHS students are to walk down to the café using our areas and then back outside if dry, or back into our school if wet.
3. Reception/Café Duty - it is essential that staff on duty are out there and visible. No student is to sit on any furniture in reception and they are to move through quietly. If you have any issues, call SLT.
