Boosters give us more protection against COVID-19 and can help reduce the chance of a more serious infection or ending up in hospital.
If you’re 18 or over, you can get your booster 3 months after your second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
Ages 16 and 17 are now eligible for boosters, provided it has been at least six-months since your second dose. This means around 36,000 rangatahi are now eligible to receive a booster dose.
Boosters are available at any walk-in vaccination clinic around the country.
