The Avonside Senior Theatre Sports team competed in the heats for the interschools competition run by the Court Theatre in August.

We initially had a team of six but, due to illness, were down to a team of three. The team consisted of Lily Bond, Jessica Wheeler and Georgiana Swift. Despite most of the games requiring a minimum of four people, we still managed to score the most points and win the heat!

The team did really well at making up for lost members with Georgiana being two people in one scene and Lily making her "loneliness" part of the story in a scene that should have had two people.

The team then competed at the Christchurch finals at The Court Theatre in September.
