Week 7 was our International Languages Week! During this week we organised a variety of activities to celebrate the wonderful cultural diversity we have here at Avonside.

One of the highlights of our week was the International Culture assembly with a mixture of performances including the Japanese, Filipino, Indian, and K-pop dances, the 2021 Polyfest group, speeches by two of our international students, a multilingual video and two musical performances.

A lot of students were involved in the different activities over the week, and this was a great opportunity for all students to experience a snapshot of the different ethnic groups we have at school.

Many hours were spent practicing for the performances; some of the practices started in Term 1. A huge thank you to everyone who got involved and made this week successful!
