Important Information for all staff below

The Board have been notified of a PPTA strike on Weds 29th March 

1. The Board have authorised the school to be closed to students that day. We will offer supervision to Under 14. 

2. All staff who non union members need to sign in with Tash Stacey in the school admin office by 8.15 and sign out again at 2.30pm. We may need some of you for supervision of any under 14 should we get indication a student is needing supervision.

3. All union members are on strike unless there is a prior leave exemption for 29th March or you are unwell and would not be at work on that day. Any staff for whom that is the case must communicate with the Principal and the PPTA branch chairs. 

4. Any non-union members who will have a problem caring for their own children on the 29th need to communicate with the Principal also. 

5. Sport, Year 9 Trips and Leap Camp. There is no Weds sport this week. Summer tournament week teachers have been contacted and can apply for an exemption. The Year 9 trip is cancelled. The Leap camp will continue as this is an NCEA assessment. 

6. Relievers - if a union member then on strike. If non-union member and have been booked already for weds 29th then a reliever is to be paid.
