The annual Quad tournament was held on August 2 in Timaru. Avonside were the organising hosts this year. This is an annual event held in Timaru whereby Christchurch Girls’ High School, Waitaki Girls’ High School, Timaru Girls’ High School and Avonside Girls' High School contest in basketball, netball and hockey. The basketball team won two games and the hockey team won one game and drew one. Overall Avonside came third and are looking forward to next year and winning more.
