Sports Council Easter Egg Hunt

AGHS —

At lunchtime on the 1st of April, the day before Good Friday, the sports council organised an easter egg hunt before our Easter holiday. We hid over 200 laminated paper eggs outside, within the school property for students to go and find. Just over 150 students competed in the hunt and everyone thoroughly enjoyed running around, finding paper eggs which were exchanged for real eggs at the end of lunch. The sports council also hid a large golden egg which was found quickly by an excited student who received a big pineapple lump chocolate egg. The student who collected the most eggs also received a big freddo frog chocolate egg. The sports council were very pleased and surprised with the large turnout from all year groups. Overall, the easter egg hunt was a great activity which got students running around and getting into the easter spirit.
