10DIT Digital Technology - Our tee-shirt designs

AGHS —

The Year 10 Digital Technology class had the very cool experience of going to South Library to use the new Direct to Garment printers. They were taught how to use the Ink Scape program which allowed them to create their own tee-shirt designs. The images from Ink Scape are scalable meaning they could play around with the size of the image and stick it onto their tee-shirt as part of the design process to decide where it should be printed so it would look awesome! They then got to print the design onto their own tee-shirt or hoodie using the DTG's and take home their own uniquely designed garment. Avonside was the first school to make use of this new technology making it all the more special. A big thanks to the team at South Library for helping everyone - Danny, Robbie, Dan, Liam and Sarney.
