The Netball Senior A team (The Avonside Aces) are a team to keep an eye on !! With playing the first few weeks of netball we were finding our feet as a team and playing well but not coming out with the win. With hard training and developing a good connection on and off the court we had our first win in the Wednesday competition against Lincoln 26-25. Then just the weekend been getting our first Saturday win against University of Canterbury G 17-23. Going on from the win on Saturday we were straight down to Timaru for the annual Quad tournament. We played hard and challenging games and won 1 game out of 3. Even though the number of wins look deceiving we learnt so much as a team and are ready to take that into our games to come. As a team we truly appreciate the support we are getting and cant wait to continue our season and go from strength to strength.
