Held in Timaru

On August 4 the Senior teams of basketball, netball and hockey headed to Timaru for the annual Quad Tournament held between Waitaki Girls' High School, Timaru Girls' High School, Christchurch Girls' High School and Avonside Girls' High School.

The students did exceptionally well this year with the basketball team winning 2 out of 2 games, the netball team won 2 out of 3 games, and the hockey team won 2 out of 3 games. This gave Avonside Girls' the second placing overall. The sportsmanship and comradery between all the teams was amazing.
