A celebration of our Pasifika success.

At the start of the term we held a Fono to celebrate our Pasifika success. We were able to have two guest speakers, Sia Evalu from Ministry of Education and Antonio Filimoehala from Etu Pasifika. It was amazing to have people from our Pasifika support our girls here at Avonside. Our lovely year 10’s organized a performance and it was so heartwarming to see them embrace their culture. We were able to award our girls for Sports, Academic, the Arts and for Achieving NCEA. This was a huge success for our girls who have been working very hard since the lock down. Congratulations to the girls who gained an award.
