Volunteers needed!

Learning Support are always in need of volunteers to read and write for students with dyslexia and other specific learning challenges. If you feel you can contribute, please contact Katrina Boxall and/or Lee Silverthorne (kboxall@avonside.school.nz and lsilverthorne@avonside.school.nz) We offer training for prospective volunteers and lots of lovely morning teas! You will only be asked to do the hours that suit you and we pride ourselves on communicating well and creating a good community of volunteers who enjoy seeing each other and feel fully supported in their work with young people.
