Congratulations to Phoebe Hunt for her success at the New Zealand Orienteering National Champs over Easter and her selection in the NZSS Orienteering Team. Phoebe gained a gold and bronze medal at the Nationals, and received the Trophy for her age group as a result of winning the Long Course Race, beating 24 other girls from all over New Zealand. The Nationals were held in Auckland and involved approximately 500 competitors.

Earlier this year she was also named as a member in the New Zealand Secondary School orienteering Team and hopes to travel to Australia later this year to compete. In July Phoebe will be competing in the New Zealand Secondary School Champs representing Avonside.
