Our 2020 Sports Colours Assembly was held on Thursday 29th October. Our guest speaker was Char Pouaka, an ex-student of Avonside who played softball for the White Sox from 1997 to 2005. Char went on to have a successful career in coaching softball both internationally and in New Zealand and was able to share lots of great advice and words of encouragement with our students. Congratulations and well done to all students who won Sports Service, Colours and Special Achievement Awards.
