Congratulations to our students who have worked so hard at their sport and reached the following achievements over the summer:

Amelia Sykes has been selected into the New Zealand Junior Cycling team.

Manaia Makiri and Stella Jorgenson have been selected into the Canterbury Womens' Softball team.

Ava Henderson was awarded the Girls' Under 16 and Girls' Under 18 National Surfing Champion titles.  Ava has now moved to Raglan to attend the Raglan Surf School.

Leah Wilson won the Open Women’s Division of the Surfing Cape Classic held at Westport.

Swimming Sports:

Our annual school swimming championships was held on 18 February at QE2.  We had more entries than previous years.  There was a good attendance and some very good talent coming through, so it will be good to take more to the Canterbury secondary Schools Championships.
