Avonside students take part in the national EPro8 Challenge.

The EPro8 Challenge is a competition - an engineering and problem solving race. Every year over 10,000 students from 900 schools from throughout New Zealand take part. This year Avonside had three teams of four students competing. All the girls were fantastic and demonstrated great team work and problem solving skills. 

The results were:

The Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf:  Y9 – 2nd Place

Bob Bygern:  Y9 – 5th Place

Insert Name Here:  Y10 – 6th Place

The students involved were:  Grace Costello, Eva Duncan, Chloe Gittins, Libby Greaves, Siena Hume, Phoebe Hunt, Dannika Ireland, Tessa Marshall, Kaia Ross, Hayley Spriggs, Georgiana Swift and Ashleigh Wright.

The Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf qualify for the grand final in week 8. Congratulations, girls!
