This is a large school, and things get pretty busy - there are some guidelines that help us all move around safely.

When moving around the school:

• Walk on the left through the corridors.​

• Organise a spot to meet your friends that is outside – not the corridors. ​

• Show manaaki for the classes working in open spaces by using appropriate language, volume and behaviour. ​

• Use the outside doors to get to the café.​

• You may move across the reception space using the one way system and the gallery, but you must do so quietly and with care for the people who work there.​ Please do not sit in this space. The chairs are for visitors.

• Enter and leave the school at the start and end of day, as well as break times  by the closest doors – not the main reception doors.​

• The front courtyard and theatre foyer are out of bounds for students during break times.​ 

• The cafe seating is available for Y13s

• Visitors must sign in at reception and meet you there. 

• AGHS students can only use the first field at break times. The area behind the shared gym is out of bounds.​

• Any time you are out of your class during learning time, you will need a pass or a note from the teacher.
