Thank you to those parents/whanau who contacted me with feedback. All feedback was discussed at our recent meeting. Our unanimous decision was a resolution to dissolve the AGHS PTA.

While there is no longer a PTA committee, extra curricular activities will still be running fundraisers you can support. If you wish to make a donation to AGHS you can approach the school directly at any time.

All remaining AGHS PTA funds have been transferred to AGHS to support both the Year 10 babysitters course and senior prize giving in 2020 and 2021.
We are looking at creating a “Friends of the School” email group that the school can contact when there are matters they would like input or support with.

In the past members of the PTA have provided a presence at the new parent morning tea at the start of the year, the Year 9 parent evening, and at Open Night.

They have organised and supported Parent Education Seminars and have been a willing and available group to provide parental input and feedback to support school planning.

If you are willing to be available to support the school in any of these or any other ways, then please email me: hoovandlou@gmail.com and I will put your name and email address on a “Friends of the School” register, and pass that on to Sue as a starting point for contact.
