Sarah competed in her first half marathon 21.1k at Ruapuna Race Track on 20th March 2021 and completed it in 1hr 26m.

She also represented Canterbury at the New Zealand track and field athletics championships in Hastings on the 26 and 27 March where she competed in the 100m and 200m with New Zealand women para-athletes who are going to the Tokyo Olympics.

Sarah was awarded medals in all her events:

100m Bronze
200m Bronze
400m Gold
800m Silver
1500m Silver

The last event for Sarah this weekend was the Christchurch Marathon

Sarah competed in the 10k Wheelchair event at the Christchurch Marathon on 11 April and came in first in a time of 35.30 minutes, knocking 13 minutes off her last Christchurch Marathon in 2018.
