What a great 3 days we have had!

Thank you to everyone, staff, students and families for such a great effort this week.

Despite the hot temperatures, everyone has managed exceptionally well in settling into their new environment. I have been very impressed with the calm, settled and friendly tone when visiting classrooms. New friends have been made and a sense of positivity is very evident.

Starting a new school/class inevitably brings some nerves. Our early focus is to build relationships and set positive routines and expectations. This is where our Balmac values of Perseverance, Excellence, Respect and Kindness really come into play.

Good home/school communication is a really crucial part to a child's learning. To start this process, I invite you to our Meet the Teacher evening, Wednesday 8 February at 7.00pm.

It's a chance to meet and greet and to hear about Balmacewen learning programmes. Please come to the hall to start the evening.

This year will be full of personal growth, opportunities and fun. Welcome to the Balmacewen community, it's going to be a great year!
