Year 8's in the kitchen

The Year 8's have been busy learning new skills and playing with flavours before planning their pies.

The Year 8's have worked their way through several recipes before planning their pies.  They have made spaghetti bolognaise, macaroni cheese and savoury scones or muffins.  They have practiced making pastry by making apple turnovers with puff pastry, fruit tarts with short pastry, and dumplings, wontons and spring rolls.  

They have planned their pies and written their shopping lists and I can't wait until they make their pies next week, some are sounding very exciting.
