Futsal

We had yet another successful term in the Tuesday night Futsal competition, which finished last week. A huge thank you must go out to all of the parents/caregivers who put their hand up to coach and manage, we couldn’t have done it without you! We had a number of our teams in finals and play off games, so congratulations to all. Below are the final results for this term:

Waterpolo

After a challenging and fun term of waterpolo, all of our teams played in a 3rd and 4th play off game for their final last week. In the Novice Grade, our Balmac Green team were 4th, while our Balmac Silver and Balmac Red teams played each other in the B Grade play offs. Balmac Silver came out on top. Our Balmac Gold team won their play off game and were fourth in the A Grade. Well done to everyone who participated and a huge thank you to all of our coaches for giving up their time!

Touch

Our Touch teams had to endure some pretty questionable weather this term, especially in the last few weeks. They didn’t let this stop them though, with a number of our teams playing some tight matches during play off games. Results are below:

Triathlon

After a successful day out at the Dunedin Primary School Triathlon, those who placed in the top 6 in their grade went on to qualify for the Otago Primary School Triathlon Championships in Cromwell. The competition was much tougher in Cromwell, with competitors running, biking and swimming over a longer course and against other students from all over Otago. Despite this, our Balmacewen Triathlon team did extremely well, results are below:
