Over the last term in our weekly Library sessions, Gill our librarian has been running a Lit Quiz Challenge for all classes.

The Lit Quiz involves teams of four students working together to answer a range of questions on books, authors, characters and storylines. Students need to have a wide range of literacy knowledge and have read a wide range of novels, picture books, traditional stories and graphic novels to be successful in this challenge. The top team from each class then went on to the Year 7 final. Gill as quiz master organised five rounds of questions as well as audience pop quiz questions. Congratulations to Room. 3 in a close tie break finish for taking out the Grand Final and also being awarded the Freshman Shield for their class. Well done to Room 4 in second and Room 5 in third place. 

A special thanks to the University Bookshop for the prizewinners vouchers and to Paper plus for supporting our quiz with extra prizes also. A huge thank you to Gill for the organisation and running the afternoon.
