The global pandemic has provided a meaningful learning opportunity for all of our students in the Fabrics room.

It has been recommended for all NZ households to have their own supply of face masks ready to use. Our students, both Year 7 and Year 8 will create their own fabric face mask to help meet this current need. 

So far, feedback from our students has been really positive. They have enjoyed the process and feel empowered because they are creating something with a real life purpose. 

There are many patterns, tutorials and fabric options being shared online. If you would like to make your own at home, checkout Lincraft's website - they have free downloads of really good template options.
