Last weekend a team of students from Balmacewen took part in the South Island water polo tournament held in Dunedin over Labour Weekend.

The students played seven games throughout pool play and finals in the B grade this year. While we were competitive with some, the very strong opposition from Christchurch dominated the final results. Despite this, the team improved throughout the tournament with exposure to a high level of skill and ability therefore learning a lot which will help them in our local competition. It was a pleasure to manage and support the team throughout the weekend and a huge thank you to their coaches Honour and Olivia.
