Charlie and Pippa recorded a live TV feed, as part of Tech Week 2019's School Series, teaching over 700 students from across the nation how to make apps.
Charlie and Pippa taught other young people how to start making their own apps using the free app maker, Thunkable. Charlie taught everyone how to add buttons and images that would move users between screens. Pippa taught how to use the tutorial section to create an Artificial Intelligence (AI) image recognition feature for the app.
It was a challenge to steady the nerves, knowing that the event was live. Charlie and Pippa represented our school extremely well and we hope that there are many more children out there now who are using the software to explore how to build their own apps as a result of this tutorial.
