It may have taken a while from planning to creation but the Y8 pies were finally made.

The smells were amazing as sauces were made from scratch. Sweet and sour pork, butter chicken, creamy pesto chicken, venison stew and coconut chicken curry,  were among the flavours wafting around. We even had a Fish and chip and a J.T.F.C  Pie.  (Jade/Texas Fried Chicken.)  Homemade pastry that was golden and flakey, and a juicy filling that spilled out when bitten into. Some had a creamy soft potato top, while others had a pastry lattice woven on top. Check out the pies in the gallery below.
