Visit this articleSome of our wonderful Year 7 students have completed their first rotation in Textiles. They have all gained many new skills that helped them create a cool cushion cover for their cushion inner. We have proudly reduced our waste in this classroom! All fabric off cuts, threads and practice pieces are cut in to confetti like pieces and used as stuffing. Every little change helps.
Visit this articleOur Year 8 students had to get creative when designing small hand sewn key chains. They developed their own template, chose fabrics and challenged their hand sewing skills. Their outcomes are fabulous! 100% hand made and perfectly imperfect :)
