Fun in the Sun!
Today Room 7 had a chance to enjoy the return of the sunshine with a session of Kiwigolf to swing into the day!
Kiwi Golf has returned for 2018 and Room 7 students had a fantastic session learning some basic golf techniques. We spent our time with Melanie learning how to correctly hit the ball off the tee and how to chip the ball into a target. Technique and accuracy was our focus today! Even Ms Dixon and Miss Davie got into the swing of things.
It was great to see some of the more experienced golfer's talent shinning through, as well as encourage those students within our class who haven't had any experience with golf before.
There is an opportunity for students interested in golf to get involved in more coaching with Melanie Harper in Term 2.
