Monday 24th August: Digital Technology ICAS exam.

Wednesday 26th August: English ICAS exam.

Monday 31st August: Maths ICAS exam Year 7 9am, Year 8 10.45am.

Monday 31st August: Year 8 Berwick days to recommence if COVID levels and restrictions allow.

Monday 31st August: Year 7 Art gallery trips to recommence if COVID levels and restrictions allow.

Wednesday 2nd September: Spelling ICAS exam.

Wednesday 2nd September: Warm up Wednesday. Student council initiated lunch sales.

Thursday 3rd September: Mufti day - gold coin donation to student council fundraiser.

Friday 11th September: Otago Primary School's Cross Country.

Friday 18th September: School Athletics Day.

Year 7 Literacy

This term our Year 7 classes have started the term with a Poetry creative writing unit. Here are some samples of our poems - the first "If I were a storm" based on a poem by Katie Boom, emotion poems based on the senses and the rollercoaster of emotions at puberty and some classes also completed Metaphor poems - based on Iain Sharpe's - I am. Our Year 7's have also been reading picture books during our library sessions as part of our Oral language programme.
