Keeping in Touch
Over the term we have had 11 teams compete at the Oval Junior Competition on a Thursday.
We have had some great weather over the past 6 weeks and some great games have been played throughout all grades.
Unfortunately the weather on finals night turned out to be cold, wet and windy so the decision was to play only the finals. The Balmac Tornadoes were playing Tahuna in the Boys competitive finals. A close game with Tahuna scoring on the hooter to win 6-5.
The Balmac Rubies were playing Columba Navy for the Y7-8 Girls Trophy. Columba scored first but the Rubies took control of the game after this touchdown and won 5-2. Well done to the Rubies who haven't lost a game this term.
