It's hard to believe we are almost at the end of Term One!

An update on some staffing changes at Balmacewen.

The first two rotations of Year 7 students in 2019 have nearly completed their first project in the Fabrics room - a lovely cushion.

Year 8 students have been working hard to complete phone cases, drawstring bags, door stops and are now onto screen printing.

Group A have been having a great time in the kitchen this term cooking up a storm.

Food Technology at Balmacewen has begun.

Choir, orchestra, musical instruments and dance groups are well underway already. Our music and performing arts programme is well attended and students are enjoying taking up something new and challenging.

On Friday March 15th our two Balmacewen League Teams headed off to Opoho Park to complete in the annual Otago League Carnival.
