Queen of the Desert Makes Talent Stand out in Dunedin

There is so much talent in Dunedin that we should have more stage shows. With the upcoming closing night on the 12 of May, Priscilla, Queen of the desert has taken Dunedin by storm.

The show has the aspect of love and living happily ever after. It was very colourful and full of life as well as having lots of popular songs that the audience sang to such as: ‘I will survive’. Dunedin enjoyed the drag queen show and the giant pink bus that was on stage for most of show.

Harriet played Shirl the Barmaid and we would have liked a bigger part for her. She said it was a very uplifting and exciting experience, along with all the hard work. ‘I enjoyed the experience of being in another show.’ said Harriet as she has been in lots of shows such as Mary Poppins, Grease, the Sound of Music and a few more.

It would be wonderful to see more amazing shows like this and I’m sure that the public would agree.
