As the end of the first term approaches we reflect on how far our Year 7 students have come over their first nine weeks at Balmacewen and how busy we have been!

Both year groups are making their first project of a designer stirrer.

Lots of excited engineers and problem solvers have been taking part in Epro8 challenges at Balmacewen.

A great day was had by all girls who attended the annual Fern Fever Festival at Logan Park last week.

This term we have had 11 teams playing in the metro junior competition on the Thursday after school at the Oval.

Our excellent Sports Coordinator, Kate Ebrahim is leaving us.

The first pies of the year have been made and the standard has been set to a high level.

The first group have just finished their time in the foods room.

Our first load of fabulous cushions should have made their way home to be celebrated!

Most ākonga have completed their haet bag and decorative cover so they will be warm for winter!

The Vision Hearing Technicians from Te Whatu Ora - Southern will be visiting our school to screen all year seven students for distance vision on Monday April 8th.
