Wednesday 19th September: School photograph orders due in.

Friday 21st September: Production dressed rehearsal at school.

Monday 24th September: Production (Little Stars) rehearsal at Otago Boys in afternoon.

Tuesday 25th September: Matinee for Production and opening night performance.

Wednesday 26th September: Final night of Production (Little stars) at Otago Boys High School.

Friday 28th September: School Athletics day at The Caledonian.

Friday 28th September: Last day of term 3.

Monday 15th October: First day of term 4.

The Year 8 students have explored methods of creating 3D triangular shapes using sticks, card and cardboard. Next they explored other shapes, ideas and prototyped. And finally they were onto mading their final sculptures, which they are still making.

Extra Current Events

Balmacewen Intermediate had 4 teams entered in the Otago Daily Times Extra Current Events Quiz last week. The teams prepared well for the quiz - researching latest news, politics, flags and mapping skills. All 4 of our teams did very well and all placed in the top 8 out of the 50 + teams entered. Congratulations to Simon, Harry, Hannah, Nathan, Lauren, Emily, Charlie, Nicholas, Claudia, James, Thomas and Matthew.

Community Service Day
