Wednesday 19th September: School photograph orders due in.
Friday 21st September: Production dressed rehearsal at school.
Monday 24th September: Production (Little Stars) rehearsal at Otago Boys in afternoon.
Tuesday 25th September: Matinee for Production and opening night performance.
Wednesday 26th September: Final night of Production (Little stars) at Otago Boys High School.
Friday 28th September: School Athletics day at The Caledonian.
Friday 28th September: Last day of term 3.
Monday 15th October: First day of term 4.

Visit this articleThe Balmacewen Intermediate school production Little Stars is on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th of September at the Otago Boys High School auditorium, starting at 6:30pm. Tickets cost $5 per person and are on sale from Monday 17th of September at the Balmacewen school office.

Visit this articleYear 8 students have been working hard to complete a variety of projects. All students should have completed 3 outcomes by the end of the term. The emphasis has been on developing skills, working through the design and creation process to complete outcomes that they are proud of.
Visit this articleBalmacewen Intermediate had 4 teams entered in the Otago Daily Times Extra Current Events Quiz last week. The teams prepared well for the quiz - researching latest news, politics, flags and mapping skills. All 4 of our teams did very well and all placed in the top 8 out of the 50 + teams entered. Congratulations to Simon, Harry, Hannah, Nathan, Lauren, Emily, Charlie, Nicholas, Claudia, James, Thomas and Matthew.

Visit this articleOn Wednesday 12th September Room's 7,8 and 14 completed a community service day as part of our Impact topic focusing on our impact on our planet. We spent the day in Ross Creek, Leith Valley and around Woodhaugh Gardens cleaning and collecting rubbish.
