SCHOOL HATS - All ākonga are expected to wear the school hat during break times in Term 1 - No Hat, No Play!

ATTENDANCE DUES (School Fees) - This is to be paid by the start of each term. The fees this year (2025) are: $157.50 per term or $630 per year - per student.

HEAD LICE - Head lice and nits are a common problem among school-aged children and can affect the whole school community. Lice and nits can easily spread from one person to another through close head-to-head contact or sharing personal items. The Ministry of Health recommends that students with live lice should stay away from school until treatment has started.

ABSENCES - If a student is absent from school we require an explanation from the student's parent (s).  These are some of the ways that you can make contact with the school office, by 8:30am

School App - use the school app to notify absences/lateness.  

Leave the student's name and the reason why the student is away.  It is a Ministry of Education requirement that all absences are to be explained. 

2025 KIWI ENGLISH, MATH & SCIENCE EXAMS - This year, the school is offering students from years 5,6,7 & 8 an opportunity to register for the 2025 Kiwi Competition for English, Mathematics and Science exams.  The supervised online tests will take place in the first week of Term 3.  The competitions are administered at school, under exam conditions and supervised. If you would like your child to participate please complete the entry form, indicating the exam that they will be participating in.  The forms and payment will need to be in by Wednesday 7 May 2025.  The cost per exam is $9.90. No late entries will be accepted.
