Congratulations to Zoey Mathewson and Eleanor Jenks who placed 1st in Dunedin and 3rd Nationally in the Programming for Girls Contest.

This event is run annually to encourage Year 9 and Year 10 girls to engage with learning computer programming. The event was run throughout the country and the Dunedin contestants were hosted by the University of Otago. The girls have spent the past few months learning to program through Grok, an online learning platform, and were supported by Ms Liddle. We are extremely proud of the work they put into their learning and how they performed on the day. If anyone is interested in starting to learn to code, please contact Ms Liddle.
