Congratulations to Anika and Emily Franklyn who gained third place with their band, City of Dunedin, at the recent Royal New Zealand Pipe Band Association National Contest.

This is the biggest pipe band contest in the Southern Hemisphere and this year was attended by 52 pipe bands from New Zealand and Australia. City of Dunedin competed in Grade 4b against 11 other bands, so gaining third place was a great achievement for this young band.
