Whose Poos?!

Bayfield High School —

The Otago Peninsula Biodiversity Group (OPBG) is on track to getting rid of all the Peninsula possums and they really need as many eyes and ears on the ground helping them find the remaining ones.

Help them track possums down by identifying their poo and reporting it to the Otago Peninsula Biodiversity Group at predatorfreepeninsula.nz

Since 2011, the OPBG has removed over 16,000 possums from the Otago Peninsula, and that number is increasing by the day. Residents have noticed the positive effects of removing these predators by an increase in native birds, rejuvenated native tree canopies, fruit trees and healthy vegetable gardens. This incredible achievement is all thanks to a huge collaborative effort from volunteers, residents, contractors, the OPBG team, and their funders and supporters!
