Recently Bayfield High School entered 4 teams into the O'MAthalon competition held at the Edgar Centre.

As we move into spring and leave the winter illnesses behind us, it is an ideal time to ensure that students who are enrolled at school are fully attending.

Our cultural narrative recognises the historical relationship between the area and its mana whenua.

Your son or daughter can nominate themselves and be assessed for a Cultural Blue or Merit Award for the Sports and Cultural Prizegiving.

Thursday 26th October is our annual Sports and Cultural Prizegiving, where we honour our cultural and sporting successes. An important part of this evening is awarding our blues badges and outstanding achievement awards to those who have excelled in their sport.

This term we will be emailing our student reports to parents and caregivers rather than issuing a report to our students to bring home to you. We believe this is more sustainable for the school and the environment.

All cups and trophies awarded in the 2022 Sports and Cultural Prizegiving are now due for return.

These are great for wearing during cold PE days, before and after sports games, and at tournaments.

It would be great if you could have a rummage for any unwanted mobile phones you may have at home.

Please do not use the school driveway to pick up or drop off students.

Applications for the Youth Search and Rescue programme are now open for 14 to 16-year-old students, closing 30th September.

This virtual October holiday programme is a week-long course for aspiring young leaders and students looking to build confidence, public speaking and leadership skills.

Entries are invited from people of any age, anywhere, for a competition to select a flag for St Clair, Dunedin.
