The Wiremu and Te Paeroa Speech Finals On Wednesday the 23rd of August, our enthusiastic speech finalists presented their interesting and diverse speeches, to a captivated audience. All the Wiremu and Te Paeroa teachers are extremely proud of all our amazing students who have worked incredibly hard to prepare and present their speeches. The overall winner for the Year 4 speech competition from Te Paeroa was Summer Diamond, second place Jimmy Miller and third place Manaia Wesley. A huge mihi to our judges Tapene Mika (Senior Te Paeroa winner), Whaea Kyanna Hetaraka-Rua and Matua Tony. The Year Three Speech winner was Levi Bewerton, second place went to Neeki Henley and Ali McDowell was placed third. The Year Four Speech winner was Isaac Bollin, second place went to Harneet Kaur and Sophie Redfern and Georgia Gleeson were joint third. We would also like to acknowledge and thank our judges Jacqui van der Beek and Angela Stensness.
