Our annual festival of kapahaka was hosted at Bellevue school last Thursday.

Our kura proudly presented two roopu at the festival. Led by Whaea Rapua and Matua Hone, our juniors put on a fantastic performance and showed that the future of kapahaka at our kura is very bright.

Our senior troupe led by Hohaia Reihana, Raua Smith and Makaio Walters demonstrated incredible skill during their bracket. Powerful voices and movements were a huge part of their performance on the day. Incredible maturity for students so young. Oa te maaka!

Thank you to all the whānau support on the day and a special mention of Matua T and a big shout out to Whaea Sandra who arrived early on the day to set up our tent! Ka pai.
