The Reweti team held their speeches on Wednesday 13th September. Our junior finalists stood proudly on the stage and recited the poem they had learnt ‘off by heart’. We were very proud of every finalist who shared their speech. We were also proud of the way our Reweti children acted as an audience by showing our school values of being responsible and respectful towards their peers. Congratulations to the following place-getters.

Noah Kempthorne played in the Mid-North zone basketball championship in Rotorua on the weekend. Alongside his team (the TCBA U11 Blue team), they won gold in their division. They played 4 long tough games and had a clean sweep in the tournament winning all 4 games. This was Noah's first season of representative basketball (or any basketball for that matter). Noah also competed in a regional WBOP vs. Waikato tennis fixture in Hamilton on Sunday winning 2 of his 4 matches. Noah is very committed to the training that is required for representative sports. Both his family and Bethlehem School are very proud of his commitment and dedication.

On Wednesday 13th September, six Bethlehem students competed in the WBOP Mountain Biking Event at Summerhill MTB park.

The 2023 Weet-Bix TRYathlon will be held on Sunday 3rd December at Arataki Park & Baywave Aquatic Centre

We wish to ensure the transition from primary school to intermediate is a smooth one for all students and that the Year 6 students, with their families, have all the essential information they require to prepare for next year.

We are currently receiving many absentee notifications that have no reason given for that child's absence. Please provide a reason for your child's absence so that our admin team can code it appropriately into our system.
