Bethlehem Kid Awards - Week 10

Bethlehem Kid Qualities - To develop learners who reflect our school values by being respectful, responsible and resilient.

Kobe Leat (Room 2) Respectful, Responsible

Well done Kobe for the progress you are making with your learning. Your attitude and perseverance is paying off with great results. Ka Pai! Keep up the great work. 

Hannah Stafford (Room 3) Respectful

Hannah, you have a great attitude to learning and are helpful to others both in and out of the classroom. Kia Kaha Hannah.

Elle McQuoid (Room 4) Responsible, Respectful, Resilient

Elle, you have been a valued member of Room 4, and to the school during your time at Bethlehem Primary. You are hard working, kind, and shown great resilience in the lead up to your move to a new school. We all wish you luck at Tauranga Primary.

Yuni Kim (Room 5) Responsible, Respectful, Resilient

Yuni, what a great Bethlehem School Kid you are. You work diligently at all tasks set and love a challenge. You have many friends due to you kind and considerate nature. You will be sorely missed in Room 5 but we wish you all the best for your new adventures in Auckland.

Joshua Kotze (Room 6) Respectful, Responsible

Josh, you are a kind, fun loving Bethlehem Kid. A great friend to many students in the class, you are inclusive, encouraging of others and fun to be around. As Student of the Day, you confidently take on extra responsibilities, and lead by example. Ka pai Josh.

Grace Talo Falaniko (Room 7) Responsible, Respectful

Grace, you are amazing! You have such a positive attitude towards your learning. You are always willing to try something new and give it your best go. You are a role model to others.

Maia Tata (Room 8) Responsible

Maia I am so proud of you. You have been working hard to improve your reading and writing. Ka pai Maia.

Chani Kim (Room 9) Responsible, Respectful, Resilient

Chani, you are an amazing role model and Bethlehem Kid. You work so hard and have progressed so much in the short time you have been at Bethlehem School. We will miss you. Good luck with your new adventures in Auckland.

Michaela Matthee (Room 10) Responsible, Respectful

Michaela, you always show respect through your lovely mat manners. You are a great role model to your peers and are a lovely, kind and caring friend. Ka pai Michaela!

Brooklyn Stevens (Room 11) Resilient

Brooklyn, I am so proud of how far you have come this year, not only in your maths but also in your writing. The formation and size of your letters has improved greatly. Keep up the awesome work!

Charlie Aitken (Room 12) Responsible

Charlie, I am so lucky to have you in my class. I have noticed you have been doing such a great job with your home learning and this extra practice is helping you to thrive in class. Ka Pai!

Bella Racey (Room 13) Responsible

Bella, you were such a star in the production. You always gave 110% to your dancing and your moves were always in time to the music. Your enthusiasm and keenness to dance was lovely to watch. Ka pai, Bella!

Sophie Acton- Adams (Room 14) Responsible

Sophie, due to the illness of one of our main production speakers you stepped into their role at the 11th hour! On the morning of the show you learned your lines, made costume changes, and spoke in front of a huge audience like a pro! If you were nervous it didn’t show. Thanks for ‘saving the day’!

Olivia Dumbleton (Room 15) Respectful

Olivia, throughout the year, you have consistently treated others with respect and kindness. You are great at looking after others and helping when needed. Ka pai, Olivia!

Max Atkinson (Room 16) Resilient

Max, you were a super star in the production. You were super flexible when we had to change your role and when your buddy was away. You knew your lines very well and spoke so confidently on the stage. Tino pai, Max!

Jimmy Miller (Room 17) Te Aumangea

Jimmy, kei runga noa atu tāu mahi tuhituhi i ēnei wiki kua pahure. Kua āta whakarongo ko ki ngā whāinga, me te whakauru i ngā whakaaro pai ki āu tuhinga. Atu i tēnā, kaha rawa koe ki te whai tohutohu, me te tū hei tauira pai mā ngā tamariki hei whai. Koia pū!

I tū rangatira ai i runga i te ātamira i te wiki ā-whakaari.

Akomanga 19 (Room 19) Whakaute

‘Kua eke ki te tihi o Mauao’

Kua ‘Eke Panuku, kua Eke Tangaroa’ ngā teina o te whānau Rumaki. I kaha ako rātou i te waiata “ Kei raro i te moana”, te ako i ngā ā-ringa me ngā nekehanga mō te whakaari ā kura.

Ihaka Ririnui-Pene (Room 22) Responsible

Ihaka, this term I have seen you take a lot of pride in the work that you do and always ensure you get help when needed. You are a great friend in Rm 22 and we can always rely on you! Keep up the good mahi!

Amber Ferguson (Room 23) Resilience

Well done, Amber, for your perseverance in self portrait painting. You kept improving your portrait until you achieved a great result.

Molly Gallagher (Principal's Award) Respectful

Molly, you are a wonderful new member of our school community. You are always smiling, being kind and participating in your learning. Ka pai!
